try looking Here http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=110772 and downloading the All Scripts package, just pulled that down fine about 30 seconds ago (well before starting this post reply :wink:

FYI, I was interested in using this in X3TC, but have only seen it for X3R.

However, if one has covered the universe with satellites (or, perhaps, has simply found all the Pirate bases once), then one may use the Universal Best Buys/Sells script to find Pirate bases that have been destroyed and rebuilt elsewhere. The way I've done it is to search for a commodity that Pirate bases typically carry (like Cargo Lifesupport).
