Nividium can be created ... or at least I saw so when I placed a silicon mine. (tho I guess 1 month is a bit long to wait for an answer )
anyway,
Thank you for this script
I tried tractoring a silicon mine into Averice, but realized to my surprise that's not possible while I thought I read somebody did and saw screenshots. Guess they like to toy with those who play it first time. I had my PHQ just placed in Averice and was quite disappointed in being unable to pull the mine from a neighboring sector in. This script gave me the option to do so, and destroying the mine I used earlier doesn't make me feel like it's being cheating. Just a somewhat expensive 'transport' of the mine from sector to sector.

I'm sorry mate... but the link is dead... I keep getting a site that states that your account has been suspended and to contact tech-support....
Salut Arigon,
encore- moi!
you're looking for a working link, hmmm. I can't help u, but it would be possible to send the script to u via mail, if u want, I still have it in my script collection and this script is a must have for me.
So, just PM me, tell me again in the PM what u want - my brain isn't the best anymore and tell me your Mailadress wait a bit, till I'm online again et voilà
ICQ would be possible, too! It is your decision,
à bientôt,
Louis

I cant get it to work!
Installed it with the script manager. Checked the script and text files were actually enabled and in the correct folders (3 scripts in the script folder and 1 text file in t folder). But nothing happens. When in game there is no command under special in the command console. The only other two mods I have is the FCC complex constructor and Ashley's Fabs (plus the bonus pack). Help!
Do you have to have any special equipment for it to work?
Maybe it only works with newer patches?

If you are not up-to-date with patches I highly suggest you downaload and install them, anyway have you enabled the script editor ?CaptainRAVE wrote:I cant get it to work!

Thanks for the reply.
Will be getting the patches next month (on a slow connection at the moment). Am on 1.4.02 (i think its something like that)...basically game of the year edition unpatched.
The script editor is enabled and I've never had any problems with any scripts before. The script manager doesnt report any conflicts either, and the script is enabled and active in the current profile! The only conflict I have is between an unlimited factory resource script (which I dont use) and Ashley's factory mod script for fixing resources....might try removing this conflict to see if it helps! (edit: nope didnt help)
Im still confused as to why the asteroid creator script is installed, but ingame doesnt appear under the special command menu when in a ship?
Edit: Still dont get why this doesnt work . Even looked at the text in the script itself and it totally should work. Thinking there must be a conflict somewhere, but cant for the life of me find it!
Edit 2: Just installed a new script in the same way and it worked fine. Similar kind of setup with the script being run with a command from the console. Weird.
***Ignore the post. I just run it manually from the script editor now and it works great. Love those 400 yield roids ***

You can essentially make any yield you want. I don't think anything over 400 is a problem, but it's completely unnecessary too.
A 300 yield rock will take a mountain of ecells to keep a mine running on it.
Realistically, 100 is more than ample for most situations (a 100yield boulder will out supply about 20 weapon fabs, if memory serves).

In all my testing, the game didn't have issue with yields of 500. That said, that's an obscene yield that produces obscene minerals with an L-sized mine, that uses an obscene amount of ecells to operate.
So, in short, it's obscene.
A 400 yield ore rock will spit out 12000 units of ore per hour with an L mine on it. It'll also eat up about 70000 ecells an hour. Which is about 90% of an SPP XL's hourly production.
